In these times of coronavirus emotional health is affecting human physical health. Despite the need for extreme caution to avoid the spread of the virus, once the main precautionary measures have been adopted, we must seek to remain calm. Being on high alert all the time can wear us out both emotionally and physically.

Yoga’s contributions to mental health are many, as it is a physical activity that focuses on shaping the body’s energy and improving mental health. The difference between yoga and other physical exercises is that the postures (Asana) have psychophysiological effects, as they generate internal awareness and mental stability. While in other physical exercises, body movements can be done only with precision, in yoga, a deeper awareness is cultivated, bringing balance and alignment of the body and mind as the principles of yoga are the culture of the body, mind and soul

I do hope you can join me on my Yoga Retreat and take the time to hit the pause button, relax, enjoy the good vibes, connect with nature on a deeper level by immersing yourself in your surroundings and taking advantage of them in a way you might not otherwise do.
