In these times of coronavirus emotional health is affecting human physical health. Despite the need for extreme caution to avoid the spread of the virus, once the main precautionary measures have been adopted, we must seek to remain calm. Being on high alert all the time can wear us out both emotionally and physically.
Yoga’s contributions to mental health are many, as it is a physical activity that focuses on shaping the body’s energy and improving mental health. The difference between yoga and other physical exercises is that the postures (Asana) have psychophysiological effects, as they generate internal awareness and mental stability. While in other physical exercises, body movements can be done only with precision, in yoga, a deeper awareness is cultivated, bringing balance and alignment of the body and mind as the principles of yoga are the culture of the body, mind and soul

About Miri Miri Massage
A beautiful form of soft hand massage, that allows me to connect to a person’s bodywork and wairua (spirit).Blessed by Io (our father) and Assisted by Tupuna (ancestors) and Tautoko (supported) by Whanau and Roopu (group). Utilising my Empath ability … I encourage whanau to open up with voice first, I start a gentle conversation. And allow what follows to … unfold.
I listen to bones and muscles and pass on their message to you.I hear the message and see pictures in my mind’s eye. Clear and strong, or not at all. It’s taken a very long time and arduous journey to learn to understand, these aren’t my pictures… these aren’t my words. And this doesn’t happen all the time either.
Sometimes people are ‘closed’…. either as a firm embrace or literally like a locked door., fear …. unknowing … habit.
And some are open…. open to healing, to light…. but mostly open to all that MiriMiri brings.
Letting go of fear. Letting go of negative inner speak. Letting go of heartbreak, grief or pain.
Being a part of this journey, to assist another’s a connection, not only with themselves but with their maker, their own inner love, and self-awareness. Fills me up with so much ‘love stuff’ …. my feet don’t touch the ground.
